We are so please with Snelsmore Spectre he’s having a fantastic year, unbeaten to date. Champion Yearling and Junior Champion at the Society Breed show is the icing on the cake. He’s such a tough little fella, we have always admired his guts and determination from day one. His dam Snelsmore Libby was having her second foal but unfortunately she had a difficult presentation again. I was determined for poor Libby sake I couldn’t lose this one like her previous foal. There was plenty of anxious moments of me representing his forelegs and pulling, but eventually a strong healthy colt was born, Libby was such a proud mum. Unaware of the worry he had just put both of us through, he just stood up and never really looked back, not even to say “thank you”. We decided to name him Snelsmore Spectre after the film I just missed. Libby is back in foal for 2017 lets hope for third foaling might be a little easier for both us girls.
