Catch The Beever

In July 2007 we arrived home after a great day at the Royal show, with Snelsmore ponies taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the miniature shetland class. We didn’t think the day could get any better, but then “Buster” arrived, a beautiful bay colt; exactly what we had hoped for.

Buster is by approved Elite AES stallion Laurenston, an international show jumper bred by Paul Schochemohle and is out of our own ID X mare, Miss Jones. He has a cheeky, some might say rather spoilt, character. Life at the moment is one big joke and he tries to push his luck most of the time; he has a special something about him and he knows it.

We choose the name “Catch the Beever” after the sudden loss of a friend, Lilly Beever, who sadly lost her life in a freak train accident while on holiday abroad. Our time with Lilly was far too short. She was a lovely girl and a very talented vet.
