A little bird tells me, Jacqueline has taken Solomon under her wing

Here at Snelsmore the job of weaning our babies is nearly all done, with only a few foals left to halter break. We always like to give our foals a bit of encouragement from the mares to help them lead and give them an insight of their new surroundings before we separate them. This year Snelsmore Jacqueline may be especially pleased to be weaned and have a rest, she has been happily feeding two foals all summer all though you would never of notice it. Jacqueline has kept herself in good show condition and had a great season, but Solomon has been a very naughty foal and seems to have pushed his way into Jacqueline’s heart and milk bar. Solomon’s dam Snelsmore Nightingale’s been a fantastic first time mum but could never match Jacqueline’s milk supply so I think it may have been a mutual agreement between the girls to share greedy Solomon, a perfect arrangement where everybody seems happy. It’s not surprising that Sebastian and Solomon are the best of friends and seem to have a special bond. Long may it last.
